Nikon Releases Portable 3D Measuring System

The 1.9 kg system is equipped with a LCD touch screen and class 2 laser.

Nikon has unveiled the P3D NC-2323S, an intelligent portable 3D measuring system that will be available starting July 1. It is suitable for quick, on-site measurements, includes a Class 2 laser and has a data acquisition time of approximately o.1 seconds.

According to Nikon, this system is equipped with a simple 7 in. Graphical User Interface that allows for intuitive operation, and does not require in-depth 3D measurement system knowledge.

The scanner includes a sensor, operator and controller that enables users to immediately check data and conduct simple measurements. It is also connected to the P3D Viewer software which includes data backup, reconstructions, checking and editing. Users can also conduct 3D data stitching and 3D printer coordination.
