Omega Engineering, Inc. (Stamford, CT) has introduced a Precision RTD Temperature Data Logger, the OM-CP-RTDTEMP2000, with backlit LCD display. The unit is powered by a 9V battery with a typical life of 1 year at a 1 min reading rate with the display off. An optional AC adapter is available for continuous use with the display and backlight on. This product has one of the largest memory capacities of any similar data recorder on the market. The nonvolatile memory will retain recorded data, even if AC and battery power are lost. This wall mountable unit has an 8-button keypad with lock feature and the large, backlit LCD display provides convenient access to current data and recorder set up. NIST traceable calibration is available for users needing to meet regulatory requirements. The OM-CP-RTDTEMP2000 is suited for applications requiring precise temperature readings especially in chemical,  water, and food industries. Price starts at $499.
