Omega Engineering, Inc. (Stamford, CT) announced the OM-CP-PRHTEMP2000,  which it says has one of the largest memory capacities of any similar data logger on the market and can record more than 87,000 readings per channel. This data logger (starts at $649) runs up to one month on a user-replaceable 9V battery or continuously when connected to the optional AC adaptor. The 8-button keypad and large LCD display provide easy reading and convenient access to current data and data logger setup. This data logger is suited for instant remote readings of environmental parameters for temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. For use in the HVAC, pharmaceutical, paper, chemical,  petroleum industries, this product is CE complaint with an optional NIST calibration certificate.

In a second announcement, Omega released the OM-CP-HITEMP-150FP,  a small, rugged, reusable temperature data logger designed for deployment in harsh environments. It comes standard with a flexible silicone rubber cable,  penetration style stainless steel probe, and stainless steel body. This logger (which starts at $499) offers a programmable start time, real time operation,  and an extended temperature range. Data analysis is easy using accompanying Windows software; NIST calibration certificates are available. The extended temperature range logger is recommended for use in autoclaves, medical,  pharmaceutical labs, food preparation and processing plants, dishwashers, and other applications involving extreme temperatures, particularly pharmaceutical,  food, and chemical industries.

More than 95 full-color pages of the latest information and top selling products for the wireless market include the Thermocouple-to-Wireless Connector/Converter, The Smart Connector; the Z Series sensor system; and more.
