OMEGA Universal Wireless RS-232 to USB Transceiver

OMEGA Engineering (Stamford, CT) introduced a universal wireless RS-232 to USB transceiver, which interfaces to any RS-232 device, and makes it wireless. By connecting the wireless transmitter to an RS-232 device, the wireless receiver module connects to a PC via USB interface to communicate with the RS-232 device as if it’s directly connected. The wireless receiver can operate multiple wireless transmitter modules up to 120m on a clear line of sight. This unit can be used in portable as well as fixed mount industrial applications and is suited for industrial products with an RS-232 interface. Price starts at $159.
