Pasternack Adds Flexible Waveguides

The devices are ideal for test labs and prototyping.

Pasternack, a provider of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has added new flexible waveguides to its portfolio. These devices can operate up to 40GHz over nine frequency brands.

These waveguides, according to the company, act as a malleable conduit in waveguide systems where there is no option for a rigid waveguide section. Ideal for test labs or prototyping, these waveguides can easily be flexed and manipulated, the company states. They are available in 12, 24 and 36 inch configurations.

“Our new family of flexible waveguide components provides designers and engineers an in-stock source of flexible/twistable waveguide solutions for their applications up to 40 GHz,” says Mark Blackwood, Passive Components Product Manager at Pasternack. “Pasternack’s rapidly expanding ready-to-ship waveguide family is the largest in the industry and provides customers a comprehensive suite of waveguide solutions.”
