Peak Raises $4 Million in New Funding

Peak, an IaaS Cloud provider for channel partners, has gained $4 million in new funding from investors Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital. According to Peak, the funding will help support partnerships, including the newly announced Telx agreement. Peak also plans to use these funds to support its continued demand for cloud computing services.

Peak offers cloud computing to a large network of value-added resellers, distributors, agents and service providers who then white-label or re-sell Peak’s cloud as their own solution. The company’s cloud locations are spread out into eight different spots throughout the US and Europe. Some of Peak’s services include disaster recovery, production workloads, and cloud storage and backup.

“By securing additional funding, Peak manifests its destiny by expanding into additional markets coast to coast, and serving a larger client base,” says Luke Norris, CEO and founder of Peak. “With our patented technologies we are helping companies realize the many benefits of enterprise cloud computing more readily and more economically. As such we have seen over 430% growth over the past two years. We are excited about our year ahead and further serving our reseller and agent community with our best-in-class solutions.”
