PipelineFX Releases Autodesk VRED Job Type for Qube!

This functionality enables users to leverage real-time workstations and clusters for rendering.

PipelineFX, a provider of render farm management solutions, has released Autodesk VRED batch render support for Qube!. Having this job type now includes the ability to use artist workstations as render nodes, the company states.

This functionality enables Qube! users to leverage real-time clusters and workstations to gain throughput when creating models. The software allows single or multiple frames to be rendered on each workstation at once, decreasing the number of times the VRED render must be launched. Pre- and post-scripts can be written to align with Qube!‘s prioritization and database intelligence tools for pre-existing or graphics pipelines.

Qube! is a render management solution that is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.

“Pipeline optimization is very important to our users, so we’ve worked hand-in-hand with PipelineFX developers to make sure that their VRED-Qube! connection is a strong one,” said Peter Larsson, senior business development manager for Industrial Design and Visualization at Autodesk.
