Platform Computing ( Toronto ,  Canada ) has entered into a technical partnership with Red Bull Technology Ltd. (  Milton Keynes ,  UK ) to provide an integrated high performance computing (HPC) environment to design the world’s fastest Formula One (F1) cars.

Red Bull Technology will leverage Platform’s HPC infrastructure software to accelerate computer-aided design and engineering processes. This will result in better designs faster, and ultimately improve performance on the track for Red Bull Racing Formula One cars.

Red Bull Technology is the designer and manufacturer of Red Bull Racing’s Formula One car owned by Austrian beverage company Red Bull.

Platform LSF, HPC application acceleration software, enables Red Bull Technology’s CFD department to increase the throughput of jobs by over 20 percent and maximize its use of the hardware.
