QuadriSpace Pages3D 2013 for Document Authoring from 3D CAD Models

QuadriSpace announced the immediate availability of Pages3D 2013, the QuadriSpace flagship product for creating multiple page documents from 3D CAD files. The latest edition incorporates new customer-requested features, performance improvements and the ability to publish 3D content to Share3D, a new cloud-based distribution and collaboration platform.

Pages3D enables users to create complete multi-page printed or interactive documents from 3D CAD files. The solution allows users to drag parts lists to the document page, and include 3D graphics in multiple page document, author printed documents or interactive 3D documents, including 3D PDF.

It supports SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Pro/E, Rhino, Google SketchUp, DWF, STEP, IGES and other exchange formats, and is compatible with the most recent CAD program releases.

The Professional Edition includes many Smart Template Technology, which enables the rapid creation of step-by-step graphical content from an exploded view or isolated part graphics from a parts list. Professional also includes update capabilities that update entire documents when 3D CAD designs change. Additionally, it includes 3D tools for managing large models using configurations and working with multiple 3D models in a single scene or document.

Advanced 3D content created in Pages3D can be published directly to Share3D, a cloud-based distribution and collaboration service with native apps for iPad, iPhone and PC users.

The company also released Publisher3D 2013 for creating 3D content for multi-purpose distribution. The solution enables 3D models to be used to create step-by-step instructions, interactive part catalogs and customer-ready content.

The 2013 version also supports Share3D. It is available in four editions:

Publisher3D Free Edition enables the rapid import of 3D CAD and publishing to Share3D. Additionally, the Free Edition can be used to create simple illustrations and an exploded view to organize the 3D information presented.

Publisher3D PDF Edition (formerly Share3D PDF) adds the ability to publish interactive 3D PDF files. Publisher3D Standard Edition adds the ability to create step-by-step processes and custom parts lists. Many other 3D tools are also made available with the Standard Edition. Publisher3D Professional Edition extends the feature set to include time-saving features like Smart Template Technology for automated creation of step-by-step processes from exploded views, update tools, and configuration tools to more easily managing projects based on large 3D CAD models.
