QuadriSpace Corporation (Allen, TX) announced the release of the Document3D Personal Edition, a free edition of its well-known 3D communication and documentation suite. The Personal Edition is suitable for sharing 3D with co-workers, friends, suppliers, vendors, management, and marketing. Document3D Personal Edition provides an easy-to-use approach to document creation.
Capabilities included for free include: an easy to-use, Microsoft-Office inspired user interface; author complete documents that include interactive 3D, text, tables, symbols, and more; import native 3D CAD formats, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and Google SketchUp without requiring 3D CAD software; and send e-mail with 3D attachments using tools integrated with Microsoft Outlook.
For a limited time, QuadriSpace is offering a low-cost $95 upgrade that adds 3D PDF publishing to the Personal Edition and does not require an installed seat of Acrobat. QuadriSpace is affordable, only requires a single program to create final 3D PDF documents, integrates the use of bookmarks with 3D views, and does not require JavaScript programming.
Further upgrades support interactive buttons, step-by-step procedures, clickable bill-of-materials, large model tools, and document update utilities.
