Rasterex Software has released a 64-BIT version of its RxAutoImage software for raster editing and raster to vector conversion inside AutoCAD. The solution allows users to incorporate intelligent raster features into AutoCAD 32-bit and 64-bit environments, and work with scanned color and monochrome raster data directly inside AutoCAD.

RxAutoImage R12.7 runs directly inside AutoCAD, while RxSpotlight is the complementary solution for Windows. When you purchase a license of RxAutoImage, you automatically get access to RxSpotlight in the same installation and vice versa, both running on the same license.

RxSpotlight can be used to clean up drawings and convert scanned drawings into CAD. Whether the user starts with a scanned drawing,  retrieves a legacy drawing from the archive, or imports a DWG file from AutoCAD, he can clean up and edit the raster, make lossless data reduction and advanced image enhancements, convert between raster and vector data and complete the CAD processing up to final CAD output, all without leaving the application.

RxSpotlight can now manipulate images that are larger than the 32-bit memory barrier of 1.7GB. It is possible to utilize 3.7GB for image data on Windows x64.
