3D scanner company 3D3 Solutions (Phoenix, AZ)has added Leios Mesh from Italian developer EGS to its 3D scan processing product line. Previously available only as part of a package, Leios Mesh is now available as a stand-alone product. Leios Mesh is a powerful software package for processing 3D scan data developed by Italian company EGS. The software takes raw 3D data from 3D scanners or touch probes and transforms it into a 3D model for use in any number of downstream applications. Leios Mesh handles point-cloud processing and cleanup, mesh alignment and stitching, mesh repair and editing, inspection and measurement, and creation of solids and surfaces.
