ReSpect, a feature-based, Go/No-Go, reverse engineering and inspection software product, is suitable for feature measurement, inspection, and CAD-to-part comparison directly in SolidWorks using many 3D scanners and portable manual CMM arms.
The product is a plug-and-play toolset integrated with SolidWorks 2009 3D. Using SolidWorks and ReSpect together, engineers can capture and measure data from existing parts, while working within the SolidWorks environment. ReSpect specifically supports geometric dimensioning and tolerancing applications (GD&T).
