Right Hemisphere (Pleasanton, CA), a provider of visual communication and collaboration solutions, announced its web-based Deep Access digital media asset management (MAM) software.

Deep Access works with Right Hemisphere’s Deep Server process automation system to deliver a unified, searchable repository of 2D, 3D, and related media assets and metadata to the extended enterprise easily and securely.

Together Deep Access and Deep Server software provide an enterprise-class and comprehensive product information management solution that can automatically generate a full spectrum of product graphics derivatives and documents for all participants involved in a company’s development, manufacturing, promotion, and support processes. With Deep Access, assets can be corralled and organized into categories, folders, and assembly structures. It also manages assets and metadata across multiple entities and geographies.

To help tackle this next challenge of PLM 2.0 tools, there is Deep Access, a MAM solution said to amalgamate multiple computer-aided design (CAD), digital media assets, and metadata from multiple sources into one interface; organize all CAD data and other media assets into categories, folders, and assembly structures;  automatically display CAD and multimedia files with relevant metadata and associations; maintain full version control of assets with check-in and check-out procedures; and automatically create derivative graphics for preview,  collaboration, and downstream uses.

Deep Access requires the use of Right Hemisphere 5 Deep Server software, and is priced as part of an enterprise solution starting at $995 per server–connected user. Contact Right Hemisphere for more information.
