A group of researchers at MIT is designing a fleet of autonomous golf carts that would be able to pick up passengers and drop them off at their destination without any chance of collision. These autonomous buggies, researchers say, use lasers to track location and other surrounding objects in their path. Learn more about the technology used and the group’s research process.
