Sensors Create Pressure Images

XSENSOR (Calgary, Canada) offers two core products in the X3 PRO sensor line, which is designed specifically for high-end applications in the automotive testing industry.

X3 PRO Tire Sensor System produces a high resolution (1.15 mm) pressure image of a tire tread in order to view the contact patch of a tire. This type of imaging allows detailed analysis of traction, cornering, and other considerations.

The X3 PRO Seat Sensor Systems provide pressure images of the automotive seat at a speed of 100,000 sensing cells per second.  Pressure image recordings can be used to validate ingress and egress assumptions, assess occupant comfort, or develop and verify robotic testing protocols.
