Siemens PLM Software Launches Teamcenter 11

The platform has new administration and integration tools for ALM.

Siemens PLM Software has released the latest version of its Teamcenter software. Version 11 includes an enhanced Active Workspace Interface, new administration and integration tools and capabilities to manage software design as a part of the lifecycle.

The platform, according to the company, includes tighter integration with application lifecycle management (ALM) tool. This enables a more holistic product view that includes MCAD and ECAD data.

For the Active Workspace, Teamcenter 11 now offers systems engineering and requirements management through a personalized environment.

Teamcenter’s Rapid Start configuration product data management now includes support for ECAD integration for multiple domain areas can share and collaborate on designs.

Additionally, various improvements make certain applications more flexible and scalable, the company states.
