Stratasys, Creaform Enter Marketing Agreement

Both companies will jointly distribute technology through North American resellers.

Stratasys, a provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, has entered a marketing partnership in North America with Creaform. This collaboration, the company states, empowers users to leverage cutting-edge 3D scanning technology and 3D printing technology to streamline the process across various industries and applications.

Stratasys and Creaform resellers in North America will be able to promote and sell each party’s components to the end user. These systems are suited for applications in industries such as product design, manufacturing, health care and education.

“3D printing and 3D scanning go hand-in-hand. This combination is targeted at allowing companies of all types to accelerate their product development processes and ensure that their products truly meet the needs for which they were designed. We believe that Creaform’s Go!SCAN 3D scanners and VXmodel Scan-to-Print software are the perfect complement to Stratasys 3D Printers,” says Marco St-Pierre, division vice president, Innovation and Technology, Creaform. “There is clear and natural synergy between our technologies, audiences and applications, and partnering with the market leader is a tremendous opportunity for us.”
