Paper helps users choose between printing technologies.

Stratasys has published a new white paper on fused deposition modeling (FDM) and PolyJet inkjet printing.

FDM, conceived and patented by Stratasys, and PolyJet inkjet printing, patented by the former Objet Ltd., are now companion products. According to Stratasys, while there is crossover in applications and advantages, these two technology platforms are “distinctly different and bring unique benefits.” The new white paper helps explain the differences between them, and provides guidance on selecting the right technology for a given application.
