Strategic Test (Woburn, MA) introduces a new series of Digital Input/Output boards for PCI Express that have up to 32 channels, recording or replay rates to 125MHz, and offer the possibility to synchronize up to 127 boards, including digitizers and arbitrary waveform generators.

There are four new boards in the UF2e-7000 series: UF2e-7010 (125MHz on 16 channels), UF2e-7011 (125MHz on 16 channels or 60MHz on 32 channels), UF2e-7020 (125MHz on 32 channels), and UF2e-7021 (125MHz on 32 channels or 60MHz on 64 channels).

The digital I/O channels can be software selected for input or output in 16 channel increments. The UF2e-7020 and UF2e-7021 are also able to record and replay simultaneously. All inputs and outputs are TTL compatible.

External clock and trigger connectors are provided. A wide variety of bit and pattern trigger conditions can be set.

The standard boards are supplied with 64MB of onboard memory. This can be expanded to 4GB for the longest recording and replay times, even at the maximum clock rates. At slower clock rates, data can be streamed to or from the host PC.

The board can be equipped with a second user-selected quartz crystal oscillator for applications that require a highly accurate specific output rate.
