Business Advantage has released the survey results for its recently completed 2014 worldwide CAD trends report.
The survey covers 14 trends, including 3D modeling, building information modeling (BIM), cloud-based CAD, 3D printing and big data applications. According to a press release, some of the survey’s findings include:
- America has the highest usage of 3D printing (26%), compared with Europe (12%) and Asia Pacific (11%).
- CAD mobile access is growing in usage and awareness.
- Cloud-based CAD has low usage and importance among CAD users.
