SYCODE Releases CATIA V4 and V5 File Export Plug-ins for AutoCAD and SolidWorks

SYCODE has released CATIA V4 and V5 file export plug-ins for AutoCAD and SolidWorks. These plug-ins give AutoCAD and SolidWorks the ability to export 3D solid data in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to CATIA V4 and V5 files without the need of a CATIA license installed on the computer or network.

“The four plug-ins released today complement our existing CATIA V4 and V5 file import plug-ins for AutoCAD and SolidWorks, says Deelip Menezes, founder and CEO of SYCODE. “When using these export plug-ins with our existing import plug-ins, AutoCAD and SolidWorks users can now read as well as write 3D data from and to CATIA V4 and V5 files “thereby being able to perform a complete round trip.

The AutoCAD plug-ins have been tested to work with AutoCAD 2000 through to 2010, 32-bit as well as 64-bit versions. The SolidWorks add-ins have been tested to work with the 32-bit as well as the 64-bit versions of SolidWorks 2001 through to 2010. All the plug-ins are available as a fully functional trials. They come with installers and documentation in the form of compiled HTML help files that contain tutorials.
