Tacton Releases Configurator Studio Testbench

Allows for test environment automation without any coding.

Tacton Systems has released its newest testing product, the Tacton Configurator Studio Testbench. This point-and-click tool allows more companies to automate the testing environment, the company says.

Tacton Configurator Studio Testbench allows product specialists to set specifications and automatically re-use them for future testing — all without coding.

According to Tacton, some of the Testbench benefits include a more efficient testing process, instant validation of changes to the model, assured higher product quality, creation of multiple tests, comprehensive test processes and simultaneous testing.

Until now, only a few companies were implemented in piloting Tacton’s Testbench. One of these organizations was Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB.

“At Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB we use Testbench during development of the configuration model for our gas turbines. It plays an important role when quality assuring and testing the changes in our product models. The biggest benefit with the Testbench is that it enables us to easily run reoccurring test cases but also to develop and create new test cases,” says Pär Alenbrand, sales configuration manager at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB.
