Ergonomics software package includes new databases.

The latest release of the Jack human ergonomic software from Siemens PLM enables companies to make manufacturing decisions more quickly and for a wider variety of scenarios than before. With new anthropometric databases and enhancements for seated postures and disembodied hands, Jack 7.1 increases the speed and accuracy of a manufacturers ergonomic studies so they can make smarter decisions that result in better products.

Jack is part of Siemens PLM Softwares Tecnomatrix digital manufacturing software suite. New features in Jack 7.1 include support for posture prediction analysis for seated working conditions; new Korean and Japanese anthropomorphic databases; the ability to perform hand clearance analysis easily with the disembodied hand module; and an enhanced measurement tool that enables the user to quickly measure and place workplace objects.
