Tecplot has released the 2012 R2 version of Tecplot Chorus, the companys simulation analytics tool. With this version, engineers will be able to manage image views that help them understand trends in their solutions and identify anomalies quickly. They will also be able to extract additional integrated quantities from simulation data to complete their analysis.

Tecplot Chorus is a software tool that enables engineers to manage CFD projects by bringing together results from simulation cases, derived quantities and plot images in a single environment. Engineers using the solution can evaluate overall system performance and visually compare tens, hundreds or thousands of simulation cases without writing scripts.

Engineers who run trade studies using high fidelity simulation can create tens or hundreds of views for each case in their project using the new version of the software. The ability to quickly manage image views helps them understand trends in their solutions and identify anomalies more quickly.

Users can also extract additional integrated quantities from simulation data, and get up and running faster with the new User Dashboard.

The software is available on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Vista, and XP and 64-bit Linux platforms. It can easily interface with SQL databases stored locally or on a server. In addition, the company offers engineering consulting services to help with deployment.
