TYAN, in collaboration with NVIDIA, offers GPU computing platforms to the server channel market. The TYAN FT72-B7015 and FT77-B7015 platforms support up to eight NVIDIA Tesla M2050 GPU computing processors to deliver cluster computing capability and scalability.

Compared to the previous generation, the TYAN FT72-B7015 and FT77-B7015 platforms with NVIDIA Tesla M2050 GPU computing processors achieve better performance for computationally intensive applications that require a massively parallel architecture. Both of these platforms have passed the NVIDIA Tesla M2050 certification.

“Tesla 20-series GPUs are designed to meet the specific needs of HPC applications, and we are seeing many cluster deployments as a result,” says Andy Keane, General Manager of the Tesla business at NVIDIA. “TYAN’s new highly scalable platforms will contribute greatly to this momentum and allow customers to tackle increasingly larger computational challenges as GPU clusters scale to thousands of nodes.”

Both the TYAN FT72-B7015 and FT77-B7015 GPU computing solutions support up to eight NVIDIA Tesla M2050 GPU computing processors in a 4U chassis. These products support two Intel Xeon processor 5600 series or 5500 series, eight PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, up to 144 GB of registered memory, four 1Gbit network ports, and 8 2.5-in. hot-swap disks.
