Vero International (Gloucestershire, England and Wixom, MI) a supplier of CAD/CAM/CAE software for the mold and die design and plastic injection molding industries, has recently acquired the assets of Camtek North America Inc. (CNAI), marketer and distributor of PEPS branded software. PEPS is a suite of CAD/CAM applications including CNC milling, turning, wire electrical discharge machining (EDM), laser cutting, 5-axis, and tube-cutting applications.

Giovanni Opimitti, president of Vero International USA, said, “This acquisition boosts our presence in North America, adding further distribution on the East Coast and Midwest sectors, as well as complements our existing presence in the heart of the automotive sector in Michigan.”

The CNAI acquisition rides on the heels of the acquisition of Camtek Ltd. in the UK at the end of 2006. For more information, visit veroint.com.
