Volkswagen Autoeuropa faced a common problem: tooling, jigs and fixtures represented a large investment that was expensive to build, costly and time-consuming to manage. By using Ultimaker 3D printers, Volkswagen Autoeuropa reduced purchasing costs by 91% and cut implementation time by 95%. Volkswagen Autoeuropa estimated it would save $375,000 by year-end of 2017.
