ZW3D Releases ZW3D 2015

The platform has expanded capabilities and more partner applications.

ZW3D, a provider of CAD/CAM solutions, has launched ZW3D 2015, expanding the platform and its reach of niche markets with multiple partner applications.

New features include hundreds of improvements to increase product quality, reduce overheads and shorten lead time, the company states. Specific examples are an upgraded file translator with sharper healing functions, boosted drafting tools with Isometric Section View, a new CAM operation list, STL support in 5-axis milling and more.

This release also has integration with partner applications, which cover areas such as rendering, sheet metal, finite element analysis (FEA). Some of these programs are:

  • KeyShot for ZW3D;
  • FastBlank functions directly embedded into the interface;
  • SimWise FEA;
  • and Eureka for ZW3D.
