ZWCAD Touch Update for Android

3D View and 3D View Control features now available.

ZWCAD Design announced the release of a new update for ZWCAD Touch on Android. Version 1.2 brings 3D view to Android, as well as image insertion, newly compatible third-party cloud storage services, and improved search functionality.

With the 3D View and 3D View Control features, users can open .DWG files containing 3D solids, and switch among different visual styles, such as 2D and 3D wireframe. Greater control is also offered to users, allowing them to orbit, pan and zoom.

Version 1.2 allows users to place photos in to designs. This feature has been used previously to add images of on-site issues to the design, make notes and examples, and illustrate other notable issues that would be hard to explain in writing.

It also offers a new export feature, allowing users to send their drawings as a .JPG file to a collaborator without the access to ZWCAD Touch.

Compatibility with SugarSync and Box means that even more users can share their drawings, not only between their PC and mobile devices, but also with clients and contributors. Adding to the mainstream providers such as DropBox, GoogleDrive and OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive), third-party cloud synchronization allows users to automatically synchronize their work between their desktop PC and their mobile device. It also allows synchronized sharing between departments and offices.

The solution automatically searches through all available folders, and filters out any unwanted folders without .DWG files, making it easier for users to store, organize and find their drawings and designs.
